My 18 years of practice and teaching, progressively took me away from a busy corporate career. I discovered a true passion for helping others heal and transition away from a life with limits. One on one sessions are the most impactful and rewarding. They allow me the opportunity to develop very specific routines based on individual needs and stages of improvement.
After a bad fall I hurt my back and had painful issues in everyday life movements. I went from doctors to body healers and finally oriented to self-care with Yoga Therapy. This is where I really succeeded in staying away from emotional and physical pain. Yoga therapy works in conjunction with modern medicine to help resolve issues instead of simply masking them temporarily.
I work with local orthopedists, rheumatologists, pain specialists, family physicians, acupuncturists, chiropractors and licensed massage therapists. I am recognized as knowledgeable and experienced in my ability to adapt yoga therapy individually and safely. This practice is shaped for participants who suffer from chronic pain or illness and respects their limitations. I will guide you slowly in ways to increase vitality, flexibility, strength and peace of mind through the various tools of yoga.
I teach yoga for veterans, trauma informed classes and accessible yoga for amputees. I’m also currently teaching yoga for seniors and stroke survivors.
